First snowboarding of the season

My friend Erica and I worked on Sunday in order to spend Monday up at Mt. Washington enjoying the great snow! It was a beautiful day, raining at these lower elevations, but above the clouds it was sunny/cloudy/snowing and the powder was fresh! The day started at 4:30 am, and the drive was 3 hours in each direction, but well worth the great skiing (for Erica) and snowboarding (for me)! This is only the third time I've used my board, and the 6th time snowboarding overall, so I felt a bit like I was starting all over again!

By the end of the full day of lifts and runs and fall-downs, we were beat but happy! Cheers to the first of many snow trips this season!
