Turning over a new blog... the Jade Rhino

Having grown frustrated with my limping laptop at home (circa 2001), its weak resistance to viruses (viri?), and the resultant stream of lewd pop-ups (uninvited, I swear!)... which has also confined my internet-time to the office, substantially reducing my productivity (and billable hours)... I finally backed it all up in multiplicity and dropped it off for a vaccination and possible upgrade. Or cremation.

So I feel it's also time for a new blog space where I can post photos and text in the same page... imagine that. For the frequent reader(s) of these riveting chronicles, have no fear, my home page and orange surfergirl blog are still up ad running at my shaw site, and the photo albums will stay on the kodak gallery. Not to confuse anyone of course. Email me if you don't have these addresses.

The blog's name is an anagram of my name... well, almost. It's cheating to drop a consonant, I know, but my other choices included "aherd in joy" and "dory hijean" - not very interesting.

I can't take credit for idea of making an anagram out of my name either. It came from a friend of mine whose blogs (and anagram) are infinitely more interesting than mine (thanks, Hosed!).

But I'll do my best. I know you are on the edge of your seats awaiting these changes. I look forward to your comments! For now... over and out.
